Alex Barker

Alex is a student obtaining her Master's of Counselling degree at City University. From non-profit casework to copywriting, dog mushing to peer support, she has an adventurous spirit and a wide range of work and volunteer experience that has taught her valuable skills applicable to counselling. Alex takes an inclusive and collaborative approach to counselling. She believes that you know your story best, so together, you can find the best path forward to reach your unique goals. She takes a client-centred approach and is drawn to narrative, emotion-focused, and attachment-based therapies. Ultimately, she is interested in helping individuals, couples, and groups understand their personal needs and interpersonal patterns.
