About Amy
As a registered psychologist, Amy provides a safe and welcoming environment where clients can share their experiences, thoughts and emotions. She is genuine, compassionate and non-judgmental in the therapeutic relationship.
Her clients appreciate her ability to create a relaxed and comfortable environment with a healthy dose of humour. She’s particularly passionate about working with individuals and couples who are looking to enhance and deepen their relationships.
Amy is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist who uses the science of attachment to help couples and individuals better understand and organize their emotional experience as well as their patterns of interaction with self and others.
She works primarily from a client-centred approach, seeing the client as the expert in their own life. Her goal is to collaborate with and empower clients to discover their inner strengths in moving towards personal growth.

In addition to her clinical work, Amy now offers supervision in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for both couple and individual work. As a Certified EFT Therapist, Registered Psychologist, and Supervisor in Training for both EFIT and EFCT, she brings a deep understanding of attachment science and the power of emotion in shaping connection and healing. Amy supports supervisees in developing their attunement, strengthening their use of the EFT model, and cultivating a secure, collaborative presence in the therapy room. With her characteristic warmth, humour, and client-centred approach, she creates a safe and supportive space for growth—helping therapists deepen their confidence and clarity in working with emotional process and relational patterns.
