Hayley is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She's also an elementary school teacher and has been teaching for five years.
She believes that everyone is unique, and they all have different strengths as well as needs. You are the expert of your life, so by working together, you can work towards creating the life you envision for yourself. She believes it is important to feel comfortable in a counselling setting, so she aims to provide a safe, welcoming, and relaxed space for her clients.
Hayley's counselling approach is characterized by its relaxed demeanor and is grounded in person-centered principles. She incorporates diverse techniques into her practice, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, crafting an eclectic methodology tailored to individual needs.
Her clients include children, teens, adults, and couples and her specialties include clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life transitions and challenges around parenting.
