Autism Assessments

An Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment helps identify whether autism may explain differences in social communication, behaviour, sensory processing, and daily functioning.

Our psychologists use evidence-based assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), alongside interviews, questionnaires, and clinical observations to provide a comprehensive understanding of each individual.

Who Can Benefit?

An autism assessment may be helpful if you or your child experiences:

  • Difficulty understanding social cues or building relationships

  • Sensory sensitivities to sounds, lights, textures, or other stimuli

  • Preference for routines and predictability

  • Highly focused interests or areas of expertise

  • Challenges with communication or emotional regulation

  • Questions about a possible autism diagnosis
